Our Approach
Group Programs (NDIS)
Grow. Connect. Belong.
Group programs under the NDIS give people with disability the chance to build life skills, boost confidence, and form meaningful social connections. At United For Care, we offer safe, inclusive, and purpose-driven NDIS group activities designed to support your goals—whether that’s learning something new, improving daily living skills, or simply feeling part of a community.
What are NDIS Group Programs?
Group programs are structured activities delivered in a small group setting. They are funded under Capacity Building Supports, especially Increased Social and Community Participation, and may also fall under Core Supports, depending on your goals.
Our programs focus on:
- Life skills development
- Cooking and nutrition workshops
- Budgeting and money handling
- Creative arts and music
- Social skill-building
- Fitness and movement classes
- Gardening and sustainability activities
Programs are held at our community hubs, in outdoor spaces, or in partnership with local organisations. We make sure the environment is welcoming and tailored to your communication and sensory needs.
Why group programs matter
Group programs provide structure, connection, and an opportunity to build independence in a supportive environment. Many participants tell us these sessions are the highlight of their week.
You’ll be supported by trained facilitators who encourage growth without pressure, and you’ll be surrounded by people working towards similar goals.
Who can join?
Our programs are open to NDIS participants of all ages and support needs. Whether you live with a psychosocial disability, intellectual disability, or autism, we adapt activities to suit your pace, interests, and abilities.
Whether it’s learning how to cook, creating art, or making new friends, our group programs are designed to help you grow in ways that matter to you. Let’s connect and make it happen.
