Our Petersham site is unique in both location and the Supported Independent Living (SIL) care model available. Based in the Inner West our Vertical Village was developed to support people living with psychosocial disabilities to live in a space of their own. Our experienced care team work closely with Hospitals, Homelessness shelters and Mental Health units to design tailored transitions into studio apartment living. Each transition is designed with the ultimate objective to ensure a suitable and sustainable living arrangement. Our operating model ensure that on-site support is available 24/7.

Some of our participants have experienced over 20 years of being homeless to slowly moving into their own studio apartment and receiving the care and support needed.

Each apartment is fitted with:

Ensuite bathroom
Kitchenette
Bed and storage
Secured doors with swipe card access

United For Care is a NDIS registered provider of SIL services in Petersham.
